                      Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin)

Stairway to Heaven es una canción de uno de los grupos de música rock más importantes, Led Zeppelin, y compuesta por Jimmy Page (guitarrista) y Robert Plant (cantante). Esta canción se puede encontrar en el álbum Led Zeppelin IV y fue publicada el 8 de noviembre de 1971, y puede que sea gracias a esta canción que el álbum de Led Zeppelin IV sea uno de los más vendidos de la historia. El solo de esta canción fue colocado en la lista de "Los Mejores 50 solos de la historia" por la marca de guitarras Gibson.

 Plant describe el proceso de la creación de la letra en Headley Grange:

"Yo estaba sentado con Page en frente del fuego en Headley Grange. Page había compuesto algunas notas y entonces las tocó para mí. Tenía lápiz y papel y por alguna razón me sentía de muy mal humor. Entonces de repente mi mano comenzó a escribir las palabras. Sólo me senté ahí y observé las letras, y cuando las oí casi salté de mi asiento".

Sobre el minuto 5:50 de la canción comienza el solo, pero la mejor parte de solo es a partir del 6:15.

Para mi esta canción es bastante buena desde muchos puntos de vista, tiene un gran solo de guitarra y una letra buenísima. Para mi esta canción es una de las mejores canciones que existen en el mundo.
